These terms and conditions govern the Ripple Effect Wave Challenge (REWC) ("the Challenge") organised by Ripple Effect Foundation Ltd (ABN 672 223 335) ("the Promoter"). By registering for or participating in the Challenge, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
The Challenge
The Challenge will begin on 1 April 2024 and end on 30 April 2024.
Fundraising activity relevant to the challenge for the purpose of competitions and prizes must be completed by 30 April 2024 and funds raised as part of the campaign must be banked before this date to count towards fundraising prize eligibility.
Donations will be accepted until 31 May 2024.
Registration
To participate in the Challenge, you must complete the online registration form available at the challenge website at https://rewc.com.au
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian if under 18.
By registering and completing the registration form, you will provide personal information such as your name, email address, or telephone number. You must ensure that this information is accurate and current.
Agreement
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge:
You will be solely responsible for all your activities on the Ripple Effect Wave Challenge https://rewc.com.au ("Site").
You will not use the Site in any way that causes or is likely to cause the Site or access to it to be interrupted, damaged, or impaired in any way.
You will not use the Site to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.
You will not use the Site to conduct, display, or forward details of any survey, contest, pyramid scheme, or chain letter, or use any part of our Site to send commercial messages in contradiction of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
You will not attempt to modify, adapt, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Site.
You will not hide, deface, alter, or delete any copyright symbol, trademark, or other proprietary rights notice.
You will not use any part of the Site which you are not authorised to use or devise ways to circumvent security to access parts of the Site which you are not authorized to access. This includes but is not limited to scanning networks with the intent to breach and/or evaluate security, whether or not the intrusion results in access.
You will not use or attempt to use the Site for any unlawful, criminal, or negligent purpose. This includes but is not limited to password cracking, social engineering (defrauding others into releasing their passwords), denial-of-service attacks, harmful and malicious destruction of data, infringing the intellectual property rights of any person, injection of computer viruses, and intentional invasion of privacy.
In participating in the Challenge, you agree to refrain from doing anything which may reasonably be expected to damage the goodwill, reputation, or integrity of the Ripple Effect Foundation.
Fundraising and Donations
Fundraising Activities
Participants are responsible for their own fundraising activities and must comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Funds raised must be banked before 1st of May 2024 to count towards fundraising prize eligibility.
Donations
All donations must be processed through the official Ripple Effect Wave Challenge website https://rewc.com.au
Donations made through credit cards are final. If a credit card is lost, stolen, or used fraudulently, it is the responsibility of the donor to report the issue to their financial institution.
Any donations made through the website are final and non-refundable once they have been forwarded to the chosen beneficiary. Refund requests for donations can be made through the website if the donation has not yet been forwarded to the beneficiary.
Terms of Use for the Website
Acceptable Use
You must not use the website for any illegal activities or to misrepresent your identity.
You must not attempt to modify, adapt, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the website.
You must not interfere with the website's operation or access it in any unauthorised manner.
You must not use the website to send unsolicited email messages or to engage in any activity that we consider to be inappropriate, or which might bring us or our website into disrepute.
User Content
By uploading content to the website, you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your content for promotional and marketing purposes.
You warrant that your content does not infringe on any third party's rights and that you have obtained all necessary consents.
The Promoter reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate and to prohibit users who breach these terms from using the website in the future.
Competition Prizes
Eligibility
The opportunity to win prizes is open to all participants who submit their correct details as part of their profile setup.
Competition entrants must successfully submit their correct details, including Name and Address. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries are invalid.
Entrants can only enter the competition(s) in their own name.
Competitions and giveaways are open to entrants worldwide unless otherwise stated.
Terms and Conditions for Prizes
Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The value of all prizes promoted is in Australian dollars (AUD).
Winners will be notified via email within five (5) business days of being selected and will also be published on https://rewc.com.au for one (1) month.
If a prize is not claimed within two weeks of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications (including any fringe benefits tax) that may arise from the prize winnings.
The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition.
Privacy Policy
The Promoter is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information collected during the Challenge will be used for the administration of the Challenge and may be used for promotional purposes.
The Promoter will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. The information may be disclosed to third parties that help deliver our services or as required by law.
By providing your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of that information as described in the Privacy Policy and these Terms.
Participants have the right to opt out of any communications from the Promoter, except for receipts and other transactional communications as required by law.

Liability
Participation in the Challenge is at your own risk. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Challenge or use of the website.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage arising from your participation in the Challenge.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any issues that result in a donation not being processed in time or which cause a disparity between the time the donation is recorded on the website and the time shown on an entrant's donation receipt.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
The website may be accessed throughout Australia and overseas. The Promoter makes no representation that the website complies with the laws of any country outside Australia.
Amendments
The Promoter reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website https://rewc.com.au
